Kejuan
Masculine
Three endings converge in American naming and none shares an origin. The -juan of Kejuan is Spanish, the form of John; the -quan of Daquan is invented, since no English word ends in q plus a vowel; and the -wan of Antwan is French, from Antoine. Same rhyme, three sources.

Our story of Kejuan
A rhyme family can look unified and be nothing of the kind. The names ending in the sound wahn in American use come from at least three unrelated places. Juan is a genuine and very common Spanish name descending from Hebrew through Greek, Latin and Castilian. Antwan and Twan are phonetic renderings of French Antoine, which is Latin Antonius by way of a French sound change. And -quan is a made ending with no source at all, notable precisely because English has no word ending in q followed by a vowel, so it could not have been borrowed. A family choosing Kejuan, Daquan or Antwan is choosing the same sound from three different histories, and the record cannot tell them apart afterwards. Kejuan peaks in 2003.
Meaningnot established
Not established
No inherited meaning as a whole. Ke- is a created prefix; Juan is the Spanish form of John, from Hebrew Yohanan, Yahweh is gracious. A compound is not the sum of its parts, and Kejuan has no documented reading. Whether a family intended the Spanish name or simply the sound cannot be recovered from the spelling.

Kejuan's later chapters haven't been written yet, so we borrowed them: Tyronne climbed just as high around 1970, and its whole arc is on record. Line the two peaks up, and Tyronne's path sketches the road Kejuan is walking now.
Kejuan sits in the calm middle of the cycle — neither chasing a wave nor sliding off one. Middle-of-the-cycle names age slowly and predictably.
