What we collect

• Account data (only if you sign up): email address, name and avatar from your sign-in provider.
• Content you create: vote pools, comparisons, saved name lists.
• Votes are pseudonymous: they are linked to a random browser cookie, never to a name or email. We store a salted, daily-rotated hash of your IP address for abuse prevention — never the IP address itself.
• Essential cookies only: a random anonymous id and a voter id. No advertising trackers, no fingerprinting.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Paddle.com as merchant of record. Your card details go directly to Paddle and never touch our servers. Paddle's own privacy policy applies to payment data.

Name statistics

All name popularity data comes from the public dataset published by the US Social Security Administration. It contains no personal information.

What we don't do

• We never sell or share your personal data with advertisers.
• We don't send marketing email without your consent.
• We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Your rights

You can request a copy or deletion of your data at any time — email support@babynamebattles.com. Deleting your account removes your polls, comparisons and lists.
