The story of Alishba
Exodus 6:23 names Aaron's wife as Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, in a genealogy that is otherwise entirely male. The name is Elisheva in Hebrew, the same name that Luke gives to the mother of John the Baptist and that reached English through Greek and Latin as Elizabeth. The second element, sheva, is the difficulty: it can be read as an oath, and Hebrew swearing is linked to the number seven, since covenants were sworn by sevens, so a defensible reading is my God is an oath and another is my God is seven. Later tradition preferred the more comfortable my God is abundance. The name traveled into Arabic and Persian usage as Alisheba and Alishba, which is why a Pakistani girl and an English queen can carry the same name without either recognizing it in the other.

Hebrew Elisheva, my God is an oath
Alishba is a Pakistani and Indian Muslim name usually connected to Elisheba, the Hebrew name of Aaron's wife in Exodus 6:23, which is the same name as Elizabeth. It joins eli, my God, to sheva, an oath or seven; the second element is genuinely disputed. Modern glosses giving it as beautiful or as an Arabic word are not supported. The American peak is 2011.
