Javaris
Masculine
American coined names use a narrower set of sounds than English has, and the sounds they leave out are the ones with unreliable spellings. There is almost no th in the invented stock, almost no ng, and no zh. What is left is the part of English that can be written without argument.

Our story of Javaris
Look at what the invented half of the American name stock is made of and a pattern emerges. The consonants are k, t, d, n, l, m, r, v, s, z, j and sh, all of which have one obvious spelling each. The sounds that are missing are the ones English writes badly: the two th sounds, which share a spelling and cannot be told apart on paper; the ng of sing, which needs two letters and only works at the end of a word; the zh of measure, which has no spelling at all. That is not a coincidence and it is not about taste. A coined name has to survive being written down by a stranger, read back by a teacher and typed into a form, so the system quietly selects for sounds with unambiguous letters. English's awkward corners are simply not used, and the result is a name stock that is easier to spell than the inherited one.
Meaningnot established
Not established
Javaris has no inherited etymology. It joins the American prefix Ja- to a -varis ending built on the same model as Jamarius and Demarius, which borrow the shape of the Latin ending -arius. That ending is genuine in Latin, where it forms occupational adjectives, but carries no meaning here. The peak is 1990.

The Verdell test
Every popular name lives one long story — a climb, a peak, a slow settling back. Javaris's later chapters haven't been written yet, so we borrowed them: Verdell climbed just as high around 1936, and its whole arc is on record. Line the two peaks up, and Verdell's path sketches the road Javaris is walking now.
Javaris sits in the calm middle of the cycle — neither chasing a wave nor sliding off one. Middle-of-the-cycle names age slowly and predictably.
