The story of Andromeda
Her mother boasted of her beauty, so Poseidon sent a sea monster and Andromeda was chained to a rock until Perseus rescued her. The constellation named for her contains the Andromeda Galaxy, the nearest large galaxy to our own and the most distant object visible to the naked eye. It appears in American records in current use.
Meaning

The Noemy test
Every popular name lives one long story — a climb, a peak, a slow settling back. Andromeda's later chapters haven't been written yet, so we borrowed them: Noemy climbed just as high around 1998, and its whole arc is on record. Line the two peaks up, and Noemy's path sketches the road Andromeda is walking now.
Andromeda sits in the calm middle of the cycle — neither chasing a wave nor sliding off one. Middle-of-the-cycle names age slowly and predictably.
