The Kiki test
Every popular name lives one long story — a climb, a peak, a slow settling back. Zarina's later chapters haven't been written yet, so we borrowed them: Kiki climbed just as high around 1975, and its whole arc is on record. Line the two peaks up, and Kiki's path sketches the road Zarina is walking now.

The trade-off
- The golden meaning is transparent and undisputed.
- A Saka queen recorded by Greek writers is a first-rate bearer.
- Zara and Rina are two short forms, both real names in their own right.
- The Russian tsarina is a false friend and often assumed to be related.
- It reads as specifically Persian or Central Asian.
- Zarina and Zareena are both in circulation.
