The story of Teanna
The tea and cha split is one of the neatest maps in etymology. Dutch traders bought at Amoy, where the Min Chinese word is te, and carried it by sea to western Europe: tea, thee, the, Tee. Overland trade out of northern China carried the Mandarin cha along the Silk Road: chai in Russian, Persian, Turkish and Hindi, chay, shay. Portugal is the exception in western Europe and says cha, because the Portuguese traded through Macau rather than Amoy. Almost every language on earth uses one or the other, and which one tells you how the tea got there. The name itself has nothing to do with any of it: it is one spelling of a modern American cluster.
Meaningnot established
Not established
No source has been established. Teanna belongs to the Tiana cluster, which reaches back to Tatiana and behind that to a Roman family name. The letters happen to spell an English word at the front; that is a coincidence and not a source.
Pronouncing Teanna
tee-AN-uh
Three syllables, stress in the middle. tay-AN-uh is used in some families and follows the Italian reading of the ea. The spelling supports both.

The Keisa test
Every popular name lives one long story — a climb, a peak, a slow settling back. Teanna's later chapters haven't been written yet, so we borrowed them: Keisa climbed just as high around 1976, and its whole arc is on record. Line the two peaks up, and Keisa's path sketches the road Teanna is walking now.
Teanna sits in the calm middle of the cycle — neither chasing a wave nor sliding off one. Middle-of-the-cycle names age slowly and predictably.
