Our story of Jaycion
Ours, offered as ours. There is a real Greek name at the far end of this: Iason, built on a verb meaning to heal, borne by the man who went after the golden fleece. Jason arrived in American naming in the 1970s, Jace and Jayce clipped out of it in the 1990s, and Jaycion extends the clipping with an ending of its own. Three generations of reshaping, and a healer somewhere at the bottom that nobody can verify a line to.

Not established
No source language is established. The construction is documented: a Jay- and Jayce- opening, generally treated as a clipping of Jason, from Greek Iason, and an -ion ending shared with Deion, Kaion and Javion in American records.

The Jacinto test
Every popular name lives one long story — a climb, a peak, a slow settling back. Jaycion's later chapters haven't been written yet, so we borrowed them: Jacinto climbed just as high around 1944, and its whole arc is on record. Line the two peaks up, and Jacinto's path sketches the road Jaycion is walking now.
