The story of Vincente
Vincent of Saragossa was a deacon martyred in 304 whose cult spread very widely, and Vincent Ferrer and Vincent de Paul kept the name in use afterwards. Spanish gives Vicente, without the n in the middle, and Portuguese the same. Vincente with the n is an American spelling that restores the letter from the English Vincent, and appears in records with Spanish-speaking families.
Meaning

The Michiel test
Every popular name lives one long story — a climb, a peak, a slow settling back. Vincente's later chapters haven't been written yet, so we borrowed them: Michiel climbed just as high around 1951, and its whole arc is on record. Line the two peaks up, and Michiel's path sketches the road Vincente is walking now.
