The story of Tylor
Wat Tyler led the Peasants' Revolt of 1381 and was killed at Smithfield in front of the king; his surname was his trade. John Tyler became the tenth American president in 1841, the first to succeed on a death in office. As a given name Tyler was rare until the 1970s and then rose extraordinarily fast, reaching the American top ten by 1993 — which is precisely when Tylor, Tylar and Tyller appear behind it. Tylor's own peak is that year, which is where a variant of a very large name usually crests.
