Our story of Terrion
Ours, offered as ours. There is a genuinely remarkable figure at the far end of the Terr- names: Publius Terentius Afer, the Roman playwright, was born in North Africa and came to Rome as an enslaved man before being freed and becoming one of the two comic dramatists whose work survives complete. His line about nothing human being alien to him is still quoted. Terrion is four removes and two thousand years from him, and the connection is unproven, and he is worth knowing about.

Line the two peaks up, and Jarom's path sketches the road Terrion is walking now.
Terrion sits in the calm middle of the cycle — neither chasing a wave nor sliding off one. Middle-of-the-cycle names age slowly and predictably.
