Saisha
Feminine
Saisha is a recent Indian name and it is worth separating what is real from what is repeated. The glosses printed for it — meaningful life, truth of existence — have no source. The syllable at the back of it does.

Our story of Saisha
Our story of Saisha is about the difference between a real word and a supplied meaning. Isha is a genuine Sanskrit word — a lord, a ruler, and the first word of one of the oldest Upanishads, which opens by saying that everything is enveloped by it. That is solid ground. Saisha stands beside it, sounds beautiful, and has no recorded path back to it. Modern Indian naming has produced a great many names in exactly that position: made by ear from a classical-sounding stock, given tidy English meanings afterwards by people compiling lists. The name is real and loved. The sentence beside it was written later.
Meaningnot established
Not established
No source is established. Sanskrit isha means a lord or master and gives the name Isha, and it opens the Isha Upanishad — that word is real and documented. Whether Saisha was built on it is not recorded, and the sa- prefix does not do the work the circulating glosses claim. Those readings appear to have been written for naming lists rather than found in the language.
Pronouncing Saisha
SY-shah
Two syllables, stress on the first, the opening rhyming with my. say-EE-shah, with three syllables, is also heard in Indian families and both circulate.

The Janalyn test
Every popular name lives one long story — a climb, a peak, a slow settling back. Saisha's later chapters haven't been written yet, so we borrowed them: Janalyn climbed just as high around 1949, and its whole arc is on record. Line the two peaks up, and Janalyn's path sketches the road Saisha is walking now.
Saisha sits in the calm middle of the cycle — neither chasing a wave nor sliding off one. Middle-of-the-cycle names age slowly and predictably.

The trade-off
- Every sound is easy in English, so it is said correctly on sight more often than most new names.
- Sai and Isha are both natural short forms and both are established names.
- Six letters, nothing silent, and short enough to carry any surname.
- The meanings printed for it online are unsourced and should not be relied on.
- Saisha, Saesha and Sayesha all circulate and none is standard.
- The two pronunciations both appear, so the child will be correcting people.
