Mia is worth its own note: it clips Maria in Italian and Scandinavian usage and is also the Italian and Spanish word for mine, which makes it one of very few names that is simultaneously a possessive pronoun and a saint's name. It rose to the top of American and European records after 2000. Kamia puts a Ka- in front of it — a construction with three letters of ancestry and two of workshop.
