The story of Julianne

French and English produced Julianne and Julieanne. It appears in the American registers in current use.
Meaningscholars disagree
youthful; and grace
From Juliana, the feminine of Julianus, from the Roman family name Julius, joined to Anne, from the Hebrew channah, 'grace'. The Julius element is disputed — ancient sources gave both 'downy-bearded' and a link to Jupiter. The Anne half is settled.

Line the two peaks up, and Rubye's path sketches the road Julianne is walking now.
