The story of Hudsen
Medieval England produced pet forms by rhyming and clipping, and Hugh gave Hudde as Richard gave Hick and Robert gave Hob. Sons of a Hudde became Hudsons. Henry Hudson sailed for the English and the Dutch, gave his name to a river and a bay, and was set adrift in the latter by his crew in 1611. The surname moved into American given names in the 2000s and rose fast.
Meaning
son of Hudde, that is, of Hugh

The Saahil test
Every popular name lives one long story — a climb, a peak, a slow settling back. Hudsen's later chapters haven't been written yet, so we borrowed them: Saahil climbed just as high around 2005, and its whole arc is on record. Line the two peaks up, and Saahil's path sketches the road Hudsen is walking now.
