Our story of Vertis
In Latin, verto means 'I turn' and vertis 'you turn'; the same verb gave English version, a turning of words into another language, verse, a line that turns at its end, and vertigo, the feeling of the world turning. Vertis, the American name, came from the names of its day, perhaps a family surname or a cousin of Curtis. But it happens to be a whole Latin sentence.
