Our story of Terral
On summer days in Málaga, a wind called the terral, 'the land wind', blows down from the mountains toward the sea instead of the other way round, dry and burning, and in a few hours the city can be hotter than the inland plains; people close their shutters and wait for it to pass. Terral, the American name, came from Terrell. But it shares its letters with a wind that everybody in southern Spain knows by name.
