Where it comes from

The story of Kimble

Cunobelinus ruled much of southern Britain before the Roman invasion, and Shakespeare made him King Cymbeline; the Buckinghamshire villages of Great and Little Kimble are traditionally said to carry his name, though scholars disagree. In the television series The Fugitive, Dr. Richard Kimble, wrongly convicted of his wife's murder, escapes and spends four seasons searching for the one-armed man who did it; its final episode was one of the most watched broadcasts in American history. Kimble is recorded mostly for boys, with a real minority of girls.
