The -yn and -ynn endings, from Lynn, produce a hard closed syllable and read as contemporary and slightly androgynous: Camryn, Kamryn, Emryn. The -ee and -ie endings produce an open syllable and read as softer and more decisively female: Bailee, Kaylee, Kamree.
