Our story of Kajuan
A junta is a committee. The Spanish word means nothing more sinister than a board, a council or a meeting: a junta directiva is a board of directors, a junta de vecinos is a residents' association, and Spanish regional governments are called juntas. English borrowed it in the seventeenth century as junto, meaning a political clique, and the word floated around British politics for two hundred years with no military content at all. The modern English sense — a group of officers running a country after a coup — comes from nineteenth and twentieth-century Latin American history, where the bodies that took power genuinely were called juntas because that is the ordinary word for a governing committee. English kept the association and dropped everything else, so a Spanish speaker reading an English newspaper sees a neutral word doing sinister work.

The base is the Spanish form of John, from a Hebrew sentence-name about divine favor. The prefix is a free American element with no content. Nothing records what a family meant by the combination.

Fashion outlook
Kajuan sits outside the current charts, and that is its own kind of answer: naming cycles can only date the names they carried up. A name this rare has no decade stamped on it — it cannot go out of fashion, because it was never in.

- Only the base carries a meaning, and it carries it at several removes.
