Ours, offered as ours. Irish has two forms of John from two different sources: Eoin, taken early from the church Latin, and Seán, taken later from the Norman French Jehan — so the same name entered the language twice, four hundred years apart, and Irish kept both as separate names. Eoin is the biblical John and Seán is everybody's uncle. Desean puts an American prefix in front of the second one.
