Our story of Aliene
In law an alien is a person who is not a citizen of the country they are in, and the word has been doing that job in English since the fourteenth century. It is still the formal term in American immigration statute, which is why official forms use a phrase that sounds, to a modern ear, extraordinary. The extraterrestrial sense is a twentieth-century development out of science fiction, and it has now so thoroughly taken over that the legal usage reads as a slur to people who did not grow up with it. The word did not change. What changed is which meaning arrives first, and that is a real cost to the older one.

Aline, Arlene and Eileen have all been suggested and none is documented. The resemblance to the English word is a coincidence of spelling.

Fashion outlook
Aliene sits outside the current charts, and that is its own kind of answer: naming cycles can only date the names they carried up. A name this rare has no decade stamped on it — it cannot go out of fashion, because it was never in.
