Our story of Tiah
Tiye was the chief wife of the pharaoh Amenhotep III and one of the most powerful women of ancient Egypt, a queen whom foreign kings wrote to directly. Her mummy was identified in modern times through DNA as the grandmother of Tutankhamun. Tiah has no recorded link to her, but the two names share a sound across three thousand years, and a short name that echoes a queen is a good thing to carry.

Not established
No source records a single origin for Tiah. Tia is used on its own and as a short form of Tiana, Letitia and others, and the final h adds nothing to the sound. The Egyptian Tiye is a separate name.

Fashion outlook
Tiah sits outside the current charts, and that is its own kind of answer: naming cycles can only date the names they carried up. A name this rare has no decade stamped on it — it cannot go out of fashion, because it was never in.
