Our story of Talesha
Taliesin was a sixth-century Welsh poet whose name is usually read as 'shining brow', and Frank Lloyd Wright, whose mother's family were Welsh, gave the name to his home and studio in the Wisconsin hills in 1911, and later to its winter twin in Arizona. Talesha was not built from the bard; it came from the Ta- and -lesha pieces of its own day. But it opens with the same sound, and 'shining brow' is a good thing to echo.
