The -aden family — Aiden, Caden, Braden, Hayden, Jaden — rose together in American use in the 1990s and 2000s in one of the most striking rhyming waves the records show, and Jaden belongs squarely to it. It was given to both sexes from the start, more often to boys, and the feminine use peaked in the early 2000s. Jade, the stone name, supplied the front half and its own separate appeal.
