Our story of Fayrene
Fay Wray, a Canadian-born actress, played Ann Darrow in King Kong, the woman the giant ape carries up the Empire State Building while biplanes circle; her scream became one of the most famous sounds in film, and after she died the building dimmed its lights in her memory. Fayrene takes the short, bright Fay and gives it the -rene ending of its day. It is gentle and unusual.
