Deandria
Feminine
Deandria puts an American prefix on a name that was itself assembled rather than inherited, which makes it a second-generation build: the piece it is built on was already new. The name buried inside it may also have produced one of English's better-dressed nouns.

Our story of Deandria
Nobody is certain where the word dandy came from, but the best-supported suggestion is a name. The word turns up first in the late eighteenth century on the Scottish border, in a song about Yankee Doodle's English cousins, and Dandy was a standard Scots familiar form of Andrew — the same way Sandy is a familiar form of Alexander. A young man from the border dressed above his station would have been a Dandy in the ordinary way, and the nickname generalized. Within thirty years it had crossed to London, attached itself to Beau Brummell's circle and acquired a whole philosophy: the dandy as a man who makes an art of appearance and of not appearing to try. The etymology has never been proved and probably cannot be, but a personal name turning into a common noun is one of the commonest things that happens in English.
Meaningnot established
Not established
The prefix is a free element with no content. What it is attached to is a feminine form built on Andrew, which itself descends from the Greek word for a man. Whether the family had that in mind or simply liked the shape is not recorded, and a compound of a free prefix and a built base has no meaning of its own.
Pronouncing Deandria
dee-AN-dree-uh
Four syllables with the stress on the second. The prefix keeps a full vowel here rather than reducing, which is why the name does not collapse into three syllables the way some prefixed names do.

Fashion outlook
Deandria sits outside the current charts, and that is its own kind of answer: naming cycles can only date the names they carried up. A name this rare has no decade stamped on it — it cannot go out of fashion, because it was never in.

The trade-off
- Andria detaches cleanly and is a complete name in its own right.
- Four syllables give it a formal length and several short forms.
- The stress falls where an English reader expects it to.
- Deandra, Diandra and Deandrea are all recorded and will be written for it.
- It is long for forms designed around shorter names.
- The prefix carries no meaning, so only part of the name has anything to report.
Nobody names a baby alone.
